Vertical Jump Test, day 2!

Yay, it's my first blog post ever! :-)
I began a 12 week program called The Jump Manual by Jacob Hiller on Sunday the 17th of July. The first workout felt good and I am very enthusiastic about the whole thing! I am hoping to see some major improvements in my vertical jump and quickness when the basketball season starts in October.

Here's a quick link for my day 2 vertical jump test video I shot with a colleague from work after our work day. The base is set and now it's all about tracking my progress! There is definately room for improvement and major gains. I am going to do the workout diligently and I trust it will yield good results. It's not a matter of hope, but hard work. After all, it's all about the laws of physics, if you like. Hope doesn't fit into this equation.

Without further ado, here we go!

Test results:
Standing vertical: 24 inches
One step vertical: 26 inches
Running vertical (left): 26 inches
Running vertical (right) 27 inches
