After some serious paintball sessions last week I couldn't follow the program with the exercises of day 4. I was way too sore and exhausted the day after. And then I headed off to a friend's summer cottage for four days. So, now I am picking up where I was left, which is the second set of exercises in the training regime.
It was very heavy. I tried to do all the sets according to the principals laid out in the Jump Manual. The intensity and especially the 'burnout' sets were a killer. I could barely walk after the first few exercises. Unfortunately the gym closed up a bit earlier today (summer schedule) so I could only finish 4/6 exercises but I did my best with those!
On friday I'll continue with the next set of excercises. I'm thinking about posting my gains every time I have finished the two week rotation in the program, whether it takes two or three weeks. This way I've done all the work needed to see the gain and if everything I'll notice better results having rested a bit more.
